Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated HR Business Partner to join our team in Calgary, AB, Canada. As a key member of our Shared Services group, you will provide strategic HR support to our business leaders and employees, driving business outcomes through effective HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal client groups to provide HR coaching and guidance to business and technical managers and supervisors.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives to drive business outcomes, such as employee engagement, retention, and development.
- Collaborate with the regional HR team to provide HR services, including recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
- Liaise with benefits team to provide advice on health/dental benefits, pension, leaves, and retirement.
- Support employee onboarding, orientation, and development programs.
- Work closely with mobility team on domestic and international assignments, transfers, and relocations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in HR as a generalist.
- High energy and ability to collaboratively work as part of a team.
- High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS. Working knowledge of SuccessFactors an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR regulations and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide practical recommendations to solve issues related to HR regulations, laws, and policies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in change management.
- Ability to develop and implement HR initiatives.
- Effective oral and written communication skills along with strong listening skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
