About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team at Convergint Technologies Ltd. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting and cultivating new relationships, gaining an understanding of our clients' needs, and securing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell core business integrated solutions for service and installation projects, including building strategic accounts and cross-selling.
  • Evaluate and target potential customer opportunities within the marketplace.
  • Develop and implement sales marketing strategies to penetrate multiple vertical markets, such as education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial buildings.
  • Build relationships with consultants, key owners, building managers, contractors, and Convergint's vendor partners to develop new business.
  • Participate in the promotion of Convergint through networking events, trade shows, and professional associations.
  • Translate customer needs and requirements into detailed customized proposals, solutions, or services and project plans.
  • Develop cost estimates for suggested solutions in collaboration with estimating and operations teams.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with clients to maximize Convergint's cash flow.
  • Review scope of work, terms, and conditions in customer contracts, including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service.
  • Document and communicate clear project requirements to the execution team and the wider organization.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Communicate project schedules, project change proposals, and related project activities with customers and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Advanced sales skills and ability to uncover effective customer solutions.
  • Solid teamwork skills.
  • Shows initiative – engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities.
  • Very adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic selling or large account management, supported by successful examples.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of IT networking principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of previous enterprise account development, sales, or related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the electronic security industry.
  • Product-specific knowledge preferred: Lenel, Genetec, CCure, AMAG.
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Business or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
