About the Role

Cineplex is seeking a dynamic and experienced VIP Server Representative to join our team in the luxury food and beverage industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in our VIP lounges and auditoriums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interactions - Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, setting the tone for a personalized VIP experience.
  • Service Environment - Prepare tables, lay out napkins and utensils, and maintain a clean and organized service area.
  • Food and Beverage Service - Serve food and drinks to guests, including concessions and specialty items.
  • Menu Expertise - Stay up-to-date on current menu options and share in-depth menu knowledge with guests to promote products and services.
  • Workspace Maintenance - Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace, including washing glassware and utensils after each use.
  • Service Standards - Utilize training to determine if a guest has been over-served alcohol and maintain high standards of service.
Requirements
  • Positive Attitude - Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with excellent communication skills.
  • Server Experience - Proven experience working as a server in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service - Superior understanding of hospitality and customer service, with a proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Problem-Solving - Proven problem-solving and quick thinking skills in fast-paced situations.
  • Math Skills - Strong math skills and computer literacy.
  • Physical Demands - Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, carry, and assist with bartending tasks.
  • Schedule - Flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
