Job SummaryThe Chef Manager is accountable for the overall success of our daily kitchen operations, ensuring a consistent, high-quality product is produced while maintaining the operating budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage kitchen shift operations and ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
- Estimate daily production needs and communicate production needs to kitchen personnel daily.
- Assist Executive Chef with all kitchen operations and preparation.
- Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff to achieve exceptional customer service and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
- Perform all duties of kitchen managers and employees as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
- Proven leadership and culinary skills, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A competitive salary range of $54,000 to $66,000 annually.
