About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the operations of plants within a designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Overseeing Operations: Manage the overall manufacturing operations within a designated region, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, improve operational performance, and achieve business objectives.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage financial resources, prepare budgets, and monitor expenses to maintain cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing supervisors, engineers, and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, implement Lean and Six Sigma type methodologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control systems, adhere to regulatory requirements, and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promote a safe working environment, and implement risk management procedures.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing operations with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Collect and analyze operational data, prepare reports, and present key performance indicators to senior management.
Requirements
  • University degree in science, engineering, math, or technology.
  • 10+ years of management experience in a manufacturing role and in-depth knowledge of production systems and facility operations.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • 5 years of experience managing a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Access.
