Sales Operations Specialist Job Description

The Sales Operations Specialist plays a critical role in streamlining sales processes, ensuring data accuracy, and driving business growth. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Opportunity Audits:
    • Validate new customer setup in Salesforce, ensuring proper approval documentation, customer contracts, and access portals.
    • Review pipeline for non-compliant opportunities and lead webinar training sessions as needed.
    • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to review hardware forecasted from the pipeline and provide sales pipeline analysis.
  • Commission Support:
    • Administer Sales Incentive Plans with the sales team and Revenue Operations leadership.
    • Create and collect signed commission plans, run commission calculations with finance, and generate quarterly commission statements.
    • Maintain all final commission materials and ensure confidentiality due to sensitive sales data.
  • Subscription Contracts:
    • Create subscription contracts using sales team data, verifying accuracy in Salesforce and obtaining necessary approvals.
    • Submit final subscription agreements and coordinate with legal for non-standard requirements.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 3 years relevant experience or 5 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with ability to excel in deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to identify problems and solve them independently with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
