ORBCOMM is seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in improving the workflow of our sales opportunity, pipeline, projection, and order processes.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Opportunity Audits:
- Validate new customer setup in Salesforce, ensuring proper approval documentation, customer contracts, and customer access portals.
- Review pipeline for non-compliant opportunities and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead webinar training sessions to educate stakeholders on sales process best practices.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to review hardware forecasted from the pipeline and provide sales pipeline analysis as needed.
- Commission Support:
- Administer Sales Incentive Plans for the sales team in conjunction with Sales and Revenue Operations leadership.
- Create and collect signed commission plans, run commission calculations with finance, and generate quarterly commission statements.
- Maintain all final commission materials and ensure confidentiality due to sensitive sales data.
- Subscription Contracts:
- Create subscription contracts using data provided by the sales team member and verify accuracy in Salesforce, including any price approvals outside the norm.
- Submit final created subscription agreements to requestors and coordinate with legal for non-standard requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree + 3 years relevant experience or 5 years relevant experience preferred.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with ability to excel in deadline-driven environments.
- Ability to quickly identify problems and solve them independently with internal stakeholders.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills, with advanced skills using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
