About the Role

Compensation: $19 to $20 per hour

Shift Schedule: 2nd shift, 1pm to 9:30pm


Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain high-speed filling and packaging equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, case erectors, case packers, case and/or bottle coders, palletizers, and pallet wrappers.

• Accurately record production data and utilize the Vorne Scanner to track inventory control.

• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve downtime issues, reporting any operational inefficiencies to the line lead or supervisor.

• Perform equipment changeovers, set-ups, and adjustments, as well as flavor changes, washouts, and weekly cleaning of tanks, pipes, and equipment.

• Hand stack and/or manually pack products.

• Maintain quality, sanitation, and production documents in accordance with plant quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

• Safely handle chemicals, conduct chemical testing, and document strength and usage.

• Operate manual and/or electrical pallet jacks.

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety, work collaboratively with others, and actively look out for colleagues' well-being.

• Participate in required weekly training sessions and pass related comprehension tests.


Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in the food industry is preferred.

• Ability to climb stairs and/or steps, stand for a minimum of eight hours, and lift heavy loads safely.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Knowledge of food manufacturing and sanitation requirements, GMP, and HACCP programs.

• Willingness to follow plant Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Security policies and guidelines.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
