About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Woodturning Machine Operator to join our team at B-H Woodturning Ltd. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, program, and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to produce high-quality wood products.
  • Operate gluing machines to assemble wood pieces or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
  • Use preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret production specifications or follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Clean and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replace parts as required to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Wood products manufacturer experience preferred.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
