Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Woodturning Machine Operator to join our team at B-H Woodturning Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized and manual woodworking machines to fabricate high-quality wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate computerized woodworking machines to produce wood products
  • Operate gluing machines to assemble wood pieces and press wood veneer onto wood surfaces
  • Clean and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions to complete tasks
  • Replace parts as required to maintain machine efficiency
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in woodworking or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Wood products manufacturer experience preferred
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a wood products manufacturer environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
