About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Woodturning Machine Operator to join our team at B-H Woodturning Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized and manual woodworking machines to fabricate high-quality wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate computerized and manual woodworking machines to produce wood products, including gluing machines and special purpose woodworking machines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, and replace parts as required to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Read and interpret specifications, and follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production and quality control.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other production team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Environment: The work environment is noisy and dusty, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day.
