Job Summary

As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to guest repair requests, and communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs
  • Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in various categories, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and more
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus
