About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broadcast Solutions Specialist to join our team at Evertz Microsystems. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and support to our clients regarding operational issues, firmware upgrades, and general maintenance of our Live Media products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary client support for Evertz' Live Media products, including troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues through research and/or re-creation to determine the root cause.
  • Assess customer product applications, maintain a communication link between customer service and other departments, and partner to resolve customer issues and communicate customer feedback to aid in design changes.
  • Install products or systems at customer sites and deliver training to customers in-house or abroad.
  • Support new customer opportunities through live product demonstrations and event support.
Requirements
  • Education in Broadcast, Electrical, Electronic, Computers, or a related field is required.
  • Live production knowledge and experience.
  • Must be eligible for international travel and able to work alone with little or no supervision.
  • Experience working in the broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, or equivalent.
  • Able, flexible, and willing to travel internationally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and able to react to changing situations.
  • Direct experience with IT networking, server hardware, and Linux.
