Under the supervision of the Regional Director, the position holder will ensure the complete supervision and coordination of all stages of various construction projects, including collaboration with subcontractors, maintaining close relationships with clients, and monitoring costs and deadlines.

Among other responsibilities, the Civil and Infrastructure Project Director will be accountable for:

Managing changes and directivesManaging tenders and related contracts (may vary based on project type)Creating a detailed schedule (dates, main construction stages, constraints, work methods)Initiating and managing tendersAwarding contractsArranging initial meetings with major project subcontractorsCreating a cost tracking list and project accounting itemsPlacing orders for site-specific material purchasesManaging breakdowns and invoicingOrganizing and leading site meetings as requiredSupervising the preparation of end-of-project manuals with the administrative assistantOverseeing administrative follow-up (costs, contingencies, claims, etc.)Validating the technical monitoring in place (technical sheets, inspections, etc.)Managing change notices (estimation, client submission, negotiation, issuing orders and/or contracts)Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering;An advanced level of English, both spoken and written;Strong skills in management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving;Group insurance (including a health spending account)Exciting training opportunitiesHybrid work policyBe sure to join our Talent Network to stay informed about all job opportunities at Pomerleau.
