Mobile Industrial Safety Truck Sales Representative

Bunzl Industrial is part of the Bunzl Group of Companies, a leading provider of industrial and safety solutions in Canada.

We are seeking a Full-time Mobile Industrial/Safety Sales Representative to join our team in Kelowna. This position requires operating a mobile sales van and interacting with customers to promote our products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by building strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase penetration within existing accounts and expand business with new accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high standards are met or exceeded.
  • Manage customer relationships and develop long-lasting buying relationships.
  • Attend sales meetings and collaborate with the sales manager to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to the team's success by meeting key performance indicators.
  • Operate a mobile sales van to visit customers and promote our products and services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Post-Secondary education preferred.
  • 1-3 years of industrial sales experience, preferably in the safety sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the industrial sales market and ability to work in a team setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and oral/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a friendly and professional appearance.
  • Proficient use of customer database systems and contact management software.
  • Possess established skills to work with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Capable of driving a Sprinter Van.
