Team Assistant

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Assistant to provide administrative support in a busy environment, ensuring patients receive prompt and effective customer service.

As a Team Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Care Coordinators and patients, while benefiting from our collaborative team and opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators, including processing new referrals, orders, and patient records.
- Enter, update, and maintain patient data in our electronic database.
- Answer telephone inquiries from patients, families, and service providers, and refer callers as appropriate.
- Provide back-up support to other positions, as required.
- A college diploma in the health or social services field, or business/office administration.
- 2+ years' related office experience.
- Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills.
- Proficient with database software, MS Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Advanced multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of services provided by Ontario Health atHome.
- Ability to speak French or another second language.

Job Details:- Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (up to 12 months).
- Initial Assignment: Community and Hospital.
- Hours in a Bi-weekly Period: seventy (70).

- Compensation: $29.47/hour.
