About the Role
Kerry seeks a seasoned Marketing Director to lead our BioK+ team in the United States. This key role will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand growth, expand market share, and enhance customer engagement across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing initiatives that drive business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives across the US and Canada markets.
- Lead and manage a high-performing marketing team to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to drive integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources based on ROI and strategic priorities.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, promotional activities, and advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the probiotics market.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience in the CPG industry, preferably with a supplement, OTC, or nutrition/wellness company.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market research to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English; French a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing company and adapt to change quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex business cases.
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial business environment and self-motivate.
