About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead our BioK+ team in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing marketing team, including brand managers, customer service, and digital marketing specialists. This role will oversee our marketing efforts in the US and Canada for our flagship probiotics brand, driving brand awareness, market share growth, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives in the US and Canada markets.
- Lead and manage the US and Canada marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to drive integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to optimize marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources based on ROI and strategic priorities.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, promotional activities, and advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the probiotics market.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing roles within the CPG industry, preferably with a supplement, OTC, or nutrition/wellness company.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market research to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; French a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing company and adapt to change quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, understanding and dissecting complex business cases.
- Ability to successfully work in an entrepreneurial business environment.
- High level of initiative with the ability to self-motivate and effectively prioritize.
