Perinatal Nurse Specialist Opportunity

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Perinatal Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Perinatal Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on perinatal care and health promotion.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to perinatal care.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Completion of the applicable post graduate specialty nursing course/program and/or willingness to complete the applicable post graduate specialty nursing courses/program.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
