We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at HostedBizz Inc, a leading provider of hybrid cloud solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts and internal inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Administration: Provide primary financial support to our Controller, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Technical Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our finance department's systems and processes, including our AR platform and SAGE Intacct.
- Account Reconciliation: Review and reconcile customer account statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Billings and Filings: Process monthly billings and filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Cash Collection: Follow up on overdue customer accounts, maintaining a smooth cash collection cycle.
- Payment Processing: Process customer payments, including paper checks, EFT, ACH, wire, and credit card payments.
- AR Solution and SAGE Intacct: Ensure seamless operation of our AR solution and SAGE Intacct platform.
- Bank and Credit Card Transactions: Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions, performing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Cash Audit Trial Report: Perform monthly cash audit trial report reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Month-End Procedures: Complete month-end cut-off procedures, including working papers filing and sales tax filing.
- Purchase Ordering: Process daily purchase orders from suppliers, working with our office coordinator for inventory tracking and control.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial and accounting functions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables), and experience with SAGE ERP Accounting (Intacct, 300) is a plus.
- Professional Accreditations: Professional accounting accreditation is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, keen attention to detail, quick learner, good organization, time management, and prioritization.
