We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at SMOKE AVENUE. As an Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
