Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor seating availability and ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Prepare and serve hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages to guests.
  • Stock and maintain the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools to ensure a clean and well-organized workspace.
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs to the team.
  • Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
  • Complete opening and closing duties to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Requisition all necessary supplies and transport them from the storeroom to the bar set-up area as required.
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Document pertinent information in the department logbook.
  • Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience is required.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
