Senior DevOps Engineer

Join our team at Partner Solutions Inc. (PSI), a leading provider of technology services to brokerage firms in Canada. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a strategic role in the expansion, deployment, architecture, automation, and optimization of our Cloud environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Broker Hosting Service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud infrastructure management, infrastructure as code, system administration, monitoring, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (and Azure if possible) platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
  • System Administration: Perform Linux and windows system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and availability of cloud resources. Optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and Linux systems. Provide support for incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in a Cloud Administrator role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services.
  • Strong knowledge of access and authentication services: IAM, IdP, SAML, RBAC, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git systems: GitLab.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools: Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell.
  • AWS certifications are highly desired.
  • Experience with Azure is highly recommended.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft 365 is an asset.
  • Experience in a hybrid cloud environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.).
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Provide technical support to clients using cloud product interfaces, solutions, and application programs (APIs).
  • Availability for on-call support (rotation).
  • Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
