Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications as required.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and self-care.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Experience in emergency nursing or a related field is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize care for multiple patients and manage competing demands.
- Proficiency in computer software and applications, including electronic medical records.
- Successful completion of WRHA Emergency Nursing Orientation (ENO) training.
- Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) certification for program area.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training.
- Trauma Nursing Core course (TNCC) training.
