What you'll do

The Manager, Paid Social will play a key role in continuing to build out CTC's digital ecosystem through building and deploying the digital marketing strategy across social platforms. The Manager will establish and maintain paid social excellence standards, collaborating with stakeholders to identify improvement areas, and fostering partner relationships to support the growth of CTC business and marketing objectives.

That strategic focus, alongside innovative marketing campaigns like our Tested for Life in Canada, among others, continue to strengthen our relationships with Canadians, and ultimately our brand.

  • Develop and certify the talent within the in-house paid social team
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and operations to deliver best in class executions and strategies
  • Ensure partner satisfaction and performance metrics are met
  • Collaborate internally and externally to establish an optimized paid social framework for CTC, adapting processes as needed for evolving platforms and client requirements.
  • Act as the point of contact for paid social at CTC and lead communications related to industry developments across the team, and internal partners
  • Lead a dynamic paid social media team; responsible for mentoring and managing a team of 7
  • Drive continuous improvement in paid social excellence through strategic leadership
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address improvement areas
  • Actively engage in company-wide initiatives such as education, testing, new technology on-boarding, and internal marketing efforts
  • Stay ahead of the curve by constantly evaluating new opportunities
  • Provide support and technical know-how for all digital technology projects as needed
  • Operate with a test and learn mindset, promoting a lift-led organization
  • Create alignment among cross-functional teams to define priorities and measure success
  • Resolve escalations and support new initiatives as needed, working closely with department leads
  • Work closely with cross functional teams, and agency partners to ensure proper tagging and set up of all digital campaigns to allow for accurate data capture and campaign analytics across digital media and CTC digital properties

What you bring

  • College or university degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Finance or related discipline
  • 5-7 years professional digital marketing experience from either agency or client side
  • Demonstrated experience in media buying platforms, ad serving and relationship management
  • Experienced communicator, able to deliver well-designed presentations to a range of stakeholders, and shows strong upward management skills
  • Subject matter expert in buying platforms for Meta, Snap, Reddit, Pinterest, TikTok and more
  • Experience in leading and cultivating highly proficient teams that can build trust with clients/partners and achieve outstanding media outcomes
  • Significant background and expertise in strategic planning and project execution
  • Well-versed in digital marketing technologies as well as online marketing programs
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, DOMO, Facebook Business Manager, etc.)
  • The ability to demonstrate experience operating across a complex matrixed organization
