Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. As a member of our Diagnostic Imaging Team, you will perform patient care, technical activities, and duties directly related to the overall functioning of the department.
About the Opportunity
- Perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures.
- Travel to other sites may be required.
About You
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.
- Sonography Canada certification.
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Comprehension of the technical language in order to be able to review and use manuals and take part in relevant discussions.
- Previous experience is an asset.
- Registration with more than one ultrasound credential is an asset.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

- Casual relief position.

- $39.96 hourly.
