Senior Auto Underwriter

Zurich Canada's Middle Market business is expanding, and we're seeking a seasoned Senior Auto Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you'll play a critical role in shaping our commercial insurance solutions and driving business growth.
As a Senior Auto Underwriter, you'll be responsible for underwriting and analyzing new and renewal business, utilizing our proprietary underwriting framework and adhering to delegated authority levels. You'll also administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating annual rules.
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced underwriter who can develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders. You'll be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, qualifying accounts, and making broker/customer and on-site calls.
As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to shape your portfolio of accounts within our broader Middle Market strategy. You'll work closely with our Line of Business representatives to develop and maintain referrals and other business-related needs.
