Job Summary

The Company is looking for a passionate and driven Vice-President of Finance to join its dynamic team and support the company's operations. The VP will have direct exposure to senior members of the team and be part of a team of dedicated professionals.

The VP will be primarily responsible for the financial reporting, analysis and planning, internal controls, and audit compliance. The candidate will also lead the business partners responsible at the various sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as an integral part of the team.

The idea candidate will work closely with the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for revenue forecasts, analyzing data-driven trends, and communicating actionable insights to the senior management team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing results of operations of various business units including various performance and general ledger reports and analysis thereonProvides other managers and departments with information required by them to carry out their assigned responsibilitiesReview BS, and CashflowPrepares monthly reporting package and integral part of month-end close processReview and reconciling intercompany transactionsReports financial results in Group reporting platform and quarterly reporting packagePrepares monthly financial statements and maintains rolling financial modelResponsible for budget and forecast processVarious financial analysis on business line performance, account-level analysisResponsible for external audit processPrepares support for external consultants for corporate tax returnsShares responsibility for the tax provisionReviews agreements concerning financial obligations such as contracts for products and services and other actions requiring a commitment of financial resourcesDesigning advanced analytics strategy and apply quantitative skills to business problems and translate data into actionable insights to inform key decisions. Summarize and present data and insights to senior management leaders throughout cross functional groups.Ensuring objectivity of the forecasts of opportunities through establishing objectives aligned around forecast accuracy.Assisting the Company in it its Procurement activities, including buying and sourcing and being responsible for documenting compliance with Swissport International's procurement policiesMentor and provide guidance to junior members of the finance and accounting team with their tasks when neededBecoming subject matter expert in revenue contracts, including assisting the commercial team in pricing contracts

Qualifications:

Hold a university degree Hold a CPA designation Have a minimum of 10 years of experience relevant to the function, with focus on process and internal controlsExperience in a multi-site environment Skills Highly organized and ability to manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of complete accounting cycle, financial reportingKnowledge of SAP, One-Stream and Planful (an asset)Comfortable with Technology and ERP systemsDetailed oriented with strong accounting and finance skillsSelf-starter with a proven track record of developing and executing change Strong in management influence, project management, creative problem solving, and cross-functional team-building skills Passionate, high-energy individual who can function in a complex, metric-driven environment Superior analytical skills and business acumen Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs (Power BI would be a plus)Strong communication skills (French & English) Ability to work under pressureStrong team spirit Montreal-based (Ville St-Laurent) with hybrid opportunities
