Senior Project Manager - Transit

Gannett Fleming is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead transit projects in the Toronto area. This role requires a strong leader who can mentor project team members and foster a collaborative environment to deliver projects on-time and on-budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise project team efforts and work constructively with team members to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate the review of scope of work between engineering and installation teams.
  • Develop and manage bid packages, including scope of work, supporting documentation, and independent cost estimates.
  • Assist in planning, development, and upkeep of project schedules and monitor performance metrics against established key performance indicators.
  • Manage costs, including procurements, labor, and other costs against project budgets.
  • Prepare project-related correspondence and manage project deliverables.
  • Complete daily work reports outlining work completed.
Requirements:
  • At least 15 years of experience in transit project management, with prior experience leading medium to large-scale transit projects.
  • Proven ability to manage complex budgets and schedules.
  • P. Eng required, PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, business, or related field.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends if necessary.
