Job Opportunity

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of rail and transit projects. As a key member of our Mobility Global Business Area, you will be responsible for managing projects to meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships to ensure delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Lead and support project leads and key project staff in areas such as project planning, cost management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Prepare status reports and advise on corrective action plans if necessary
  • Coordinate the development of project packages, including scope of work, supporting documentation, and cost estimates
  • Maintain an overview of the commercial aspects of the project, including contract management and invoicing
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships with municipalities, provincial agencies, transit agencies, and utilities
  • Plan and facilitate workshops, working groups, meetings, and focus groups
  • Support change management and operational readiness activities on projects
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's University Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Professional Engineering License in the Province of Ontario
  • 8+ years of progressive experience managing/leading rail and transit projects in a large matrix organization
  • Experience managing client relationships and knowledge of alternate project delivery methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
