Job Summary

Gannett Fleming is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our transit and rail projects in the Toronto area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of complex transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise project teams and work collaboratively with team members to resolve issues and achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate the review of project scope and ensure alignment with engineering and installation teams.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including weekly and monthly updates, to stakeholders.
  • Manage project deliverables, including documentation, testing, and commissioning.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in transportation project management, with a focus on transit and rail projects.
  • Proven track record of leading medium to large-scale transportation projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • P. Eng. certification is required, and PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, business, or a related field.
