Job Summary:

Perform integration and system testing, develop test procedures, provide instructional sessions, and support integration of new subsystems onboard platforms.

About the Role
  • Develop and validate test procedures to verify functionality of Submarine Combat Systems
  • Provide instructional sessions to the Navy on Lockheed Martin Combat systems
  • Support Lead instructor with courseware development, validation, and delivery
  • Support Lead Integration Specialist in integration of new subsystems onboard platforms
  • Develop engineering specifications to provide up-to-date capabilities to the fleet
  • Produce technical reports documenting and investigating deficiencies, recommending solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow established processes
  • Perform various other tasks related to Lockheed Martin Combat Systems
  • Testing Lab Management/Equipment Maintenance
  • Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functionality with shipping, receiving, and tracking of spare components
  • Software Installation and Configuration
  • Work with a variety of test equipment, including signal generators, fibre optic testers, oscilloscope
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with five years of professional experience
  • Understanding of Canadian Naval Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
  • Operational understanding of the interactions of sensors/weapon systems fitted on the Victoria Class Submarines
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of Ethernet networks
  • Victoria Class submarine experience
