We are seeking a highly skilled Submarine Systems Integration Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various levels of integration and system testing, including integration, functional tests.
The activities you will be involved in include:
- Develop and Validate Test Procedures: You will develop and validate test procedures to verify the functionality of Submarine Combat Systems.
- Provide Instructional Sessions: You will provide instructional sessions to the Navy on Lockheed Martin Combat systems.
- Support Courseware Development: You will support the Lead instructor with courseware development, validation, and delivery.
- Support Integration of New Subsystems: You will support the Lead Integration Specialist in the integration of new subsystems onboard the platforms.
- Develop Engineering Specifications: You will develop engineering specifications to provide up-to-date capabilities to the fleet.
- Produce Technical Reports: You will produce technical reports documenting and investigating deficiencies, recommending solutions as a field service representative.
- Troubleshoot Systems: You will have the ability to troubleshoot systems.
- Work with Minimum Supervision: You will have the ability to work with minimum supervision and follow established processes.
- Perform Various Tasks: You will perform various other tasks related to the Lockheed Martin Combat Systems as required, such as light manufacturing, developing prototypes, and proof of concepts.
- Testing Lab Management: You will be responsible for testing lab management/equipment maintenance.
- Support Integrated Logistics Support: You will support the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functionality with shipping, receiving, and tracking of spare components and the return to service.
- Software Installation and Configuration: You will be responsible for software installation and configuration.
- Work with Test Equipment: You will work with a variety of test equipment, including signal generators, fibre optic testers, oscilloscope.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with five years of professional experience; or three years of professional experience with a related master's degree.
- Understanding of Canadian Naval Concept of Operations: An understanding of Canadian Naval Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and operational understanding of the interactions of sensors/weapon systems fitted on the Victoria Class Submarines.
