Job Purpose

The Sales & Growth Lead is responsible for building the client acquisition strategy and setting revenue and user growth targets for our digital marketing platform. You will work closely with Executives and departmental leads (marketing, ops and product) to drive the transition from our existing services business to the new software platform business. You will build a new scalable sales process focused on growth.

You must have prior success and a deep understanding in developing and implementing sales processes, playbooks and funnel optimizations for SaaS, PLG or marketplace products. You are constantly experimenting, iterating and leading through change to enable your team. You are a hands-on coach, a tactical manager and a self-starter who is prepared to execute against a company goal.

This is a role for both experienced and up-and-coming sales, RevOps or growth leaders who are searching for an opportunity to join a fast growing technology start up. While based in Toronto, you will report to the Executive leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop Go-to-market strategy, including a new efficient and scalable sales process focusing on new user acquisition
Work with the Head of Strategy and the Product Lead to optimize the process, playbooks and resource allocation
Implement and achieve effective continuous improvement of our CAC
Manage, lead and develop a high performing sales team, coaching and nurturing team members on demonstrating value, building pipeline, driving adoption and closing opportunities
Accountable for accurately forecasting, setting KPIs, delivering results, and meeting M/Q/Y targets

Qualifications and Skills

Prior experience building, implementing and managing new sales processes, playbooks, and growth strategies
5-7 years of experience in sales, growth or RevOps in SaaS solutions, PLG, marketplace or subscription based products, preferably within startup environment
You have a passion for developing talent and coaching a team to success
History of setting, driving and delivering results
