Kognitive Sales Solutions, in partnership with a Leading Financial Institution is seeking a dynamic individual to assume the role of Territory Manager within our company. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve regional sales targets and objectives. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth within a specific geographic area. Working in partnership with their team and senior management, the successful candidate will identify strategic solutions and optimize results through relationships, coaching, motivation, and leading by example. Their ability to lead a sales team, develop effective strategies, and build strong customer relationships is critical to achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing significantly to the company's overall success.

Responsibilities:

As a professional, your key leadership tasks include:

  • Oversee and manage assigned regions, ensuring compliance with scheduling, expense reimbursement, asset management, and performance management of teams
  • Conduct weekly client calls to maintain positive client relations and ensure accurate store schedules
  • Coordinate weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with key stakeholders to review region performance and ensure smooth operation
  • Manage asset and expense management for the region, including tablets, car rentals, event kits, and legal handouts
  • Drive sales volume, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and coach/develop team members
  • Define and communicate sales targets and quotas for individual team members and the overall region
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned region, aligning it with company goals
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and budgets for the region, track and report on sales performance
  • Continuously assess and improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and closing
  • Attend bi-monthly social/training sessions with the team to train staff, build team mentality, and recognize achievements
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization through excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Guarantee adherence to all store compliance standards, actively pinpointing opportunities for enhancing processes and systems
  • Attend to customer concerns promptly, ensuring timely resolution with positive results
  • Cultivate enthusiasm for the product lineup through expertise and advocacy for the brand
  • Accountable for achieving territory sales targets

Requirements

  • 3+ years of success in sales in a financial or retail environment (preferred)
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Prior territory management experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to identify strategic solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to travel across Eastern Ontario and the Atlantic Coast as needed to various store locations and have access to a reliable vehicle
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
