Credit Risk Analyst

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at TD Bank. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing credit risk in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements to increase profitability and enable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess Credit Risk: Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers to drive profitable business growth while adhering to TD's credit risk policies.
- Underwrite New Credit Requests: Complete annual credit reviews, coordinate draw requests, and monitor and control credit facilities.
- Support Relationship Managers: Prepare competitive credit packages in a timely manner to meet customer needs.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Continually deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experience.
- Lead Analysis for Assigned Portfolios: Utilize sales platform to build a robust understanding of our customers/target needs, industries, and markets.
- Identify and Respond to Changes in the Business Environment: Establish action plans to address customer issues and priorities.
- Cross-Sell Products: Assist the Relationship Manager in cross-selling the full range of products to existing and new customers, as applicable to maximize revenue/profit and retention of relationships based on the risk profile of the customer.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Contribute to Operational Excellence business objectives and identify, suggest, and actively participate in process improvement opportunities.
- Protect the Interests of the Organization: Identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk transactions/activities as necessary.
- Manage Relationships: Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines/corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Due Diligence: Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
- Minimize Operational and Regulatory Risk: Comply with Bank and industry Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
- Education: Undergraduate degree.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience.
