Agricultural Banking Analyst Internship: Unlocking Opportunities in Commercial Banking

About the Role
As a Commercial Banking Agricultural Analyst Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experienced professionals in delivering advice and customized solutions to mid and large-sized businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to deepen client relationships by understanding their businesses, providing administrative support, and making sound credit decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth company and industry analysis to inform credit decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with Commercial business customers
- Provide actionable recommendations to support credit decisions
- Collect and assimilate information necessary to make sound credit decisions
- Make it easy to do business by minimizing touch points and providing fast turnaround times
Requirements
- Enrolled in an undergrad/post-secondary degree in Food and Agricultural Business, Economics, or similar field
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Prior experience in providing customer needs-based advice and solutions
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
