Credit Analyst II

As a key member of our Credit Management team, you will play a critical role in assessing credit worthiness and risk of potential customers to drive profitable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Structure credit for assigned portfolios, focusing on assessing credit worthiness and risk to drive profitable business growth while adhering to TD's credit risk policies.
- Underwrite new credit requests, complete annual credit reviews, and coordinate draw requests, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Monitor and control credit facilities, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the Relationship Manager in booking new business by preparing competitive credit packages in a timely manner to meet customer needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction, executing plans to continuously improve the customer experience.
- Lead all aspects of analysis for assigned portfolios, utilizing sales platforms to build a robust understanding of customers, target needs, industries, and markets.
- Identify and respond to changes in the business environment, establishing action plans to address customer issues and priorities.
- Assist the Relationship Manager in cross-selling the full range of products to existing and new customers, maximizing revenue and retention of relationships based on the risk profile of the customer.
- Undergraduate degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience in credit management or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret guidelines, standards, policies, and results of analysis to inform decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build stakeholder alignment and lead problem resolution for complex issues.
- Ability to work under moderate guidance and supervision from management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely and accurate manner.
