Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Leader to join our team at the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE). As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programs to elementary students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver educational programs to elementary students
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year's experience working with elementary age students
  • Knowledge of educational programming and curriculum development
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
