Landscaper (6-month Contract)

Landscaper Job Description
Boardwalk is seeking an experienced Landscaper to join our team. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of our properties, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure site cleanliness and remove heavy furniture, garbage, and appliances as required
- Perform snow and ice removal, sanding, and salting, and complete snow and ice removal logs
- Maintain lawns, trees, hedges, and flowerbeds, including cutting, trimming, watering, edging, and weed control
- Sweep, wash, and maintain parking lots, including lines and catch basins
- Repair and/or stain fences as necessary
- Ensure building exteriors are clean and well-maintained, including eaves, siding, lights, and signage
- Perform spring and fall clean-ups, including hazard line painting, irrigation start-up, power washing, planting, and filling potholes
- Paint halls, suites, parkades, and other areas as assigned
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including Bobcats and heavy equipment
Requirements:
- 2 years of landscaping experience required
- Minor mechanical experience an asset
- Professional training and experience with landscaping equipment, including Bobcats
Technical Requirements:
- Working knowledge of English, both verbal and written
- Driver's license and own reliable vehicle required
- Ability to operate a Bobcat and train others to do so in a safe manner
- Ability to operate smaller equipment, including sweepers, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and small tractors
- Familiarity with computer tablets an asset

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
- Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
