Cascadia Partners is seeking a part-time Office Manager and Finance Administrator to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for overseeing office operations, managing administrative tasks, and supporting our finance and recruiting activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage office supplies, coordinate maintenance of office equipment, and ensure the office environment is organized and professional.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Review and manage revenue, produce reports (revenue by clients, consultant, partner, etc.).
  • Provide administrative support to senior management, including scheduling, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate and organize office events and meetings, including catering and venue arrangements.
  • Ensure office policies and procedures are followed, and update as necessary.
  • Maintain and organize office files and records, both physical and electronic.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Adapt to a variety of tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle payroll.
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of GST and corporate tax installments.
Requirements:
  • Finance background: Proven experience in bookkeeping, GST, corporate tax installments, and revenue management.
  • Administrative skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
  • Team player: Ability to work collaboratively and create an inclusive environment.
  • Time management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Canada and onsite. Our Vancouver office is located in Yaletown.
