Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently via stretcher/wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements
  • Hold a valid First Responder Certification, AEMCA, or be working towards a Paramedic Diploma (year 1 completion required).
  • Possess a valid CPR and First Aid (Level C) certification.
  • Have a valid G class driving license and a clean driving record.
  • Be able to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with a partner.
  • Effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
  • Obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening.
  • Provide up-to-date immunization records, including MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), and TB Skin Test (Step 1) within the last 12 months.
  • Have completed High School or provide proof of equivalency or post-secondary diploma.
