We're seeking qualified and empathetic individuals to join our team of Personal Support Workers (PSWs) who share our commitment to delivering quality health care. In this role, you will encourage, support, and promote independence for patients by assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager.

As a Compassionate Home Care Provider, your duties will include:

  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions
  • Promoting a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety
  • Providing cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan, using proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle
  • A valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker or enrollment in a Nursing program
  • To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, a clear background check
