About the Role

CarePartners is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in home and community settings. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and respite care
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to special diets as determined by the care plan
  • Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety

Requirements

  • Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
