Job Description

In this role, you will assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, assistance with household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions. You will also promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety. Furthermore, you will provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients and prepare nutritious meals and snacks using proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
  • To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check
