Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Cardiac Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic non-invasive cardiology tests and other designated duties. This role requires a high level of professionalism, with a focus on confidentiality, personal appearance, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Cardiac Stress Testing and ECG Testing, as well as Holter Monitoring.
- Operate the Holter Scanner and ensure equipment is clean and maintained.
- Transfer exams to the Philips iECG Management system.
- Promote a professional work environment and maintain successful working relationships with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited CardioVascular Technology Program.
- Certification or eligibility for certification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and telephone skills.
- Human relations skills, including empathy, sensitivity, and understanding of human and organizational behavior.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment.
