About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Sales Director to join our team at Corner Collection. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and increasing banquet event sales, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and promoting our hotel and restaurant banquet services to attract new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Increase Banquet Event Sales: Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and promote our hotel's banquet services to attract new clients.
  • Manage Multiple Properties: Respond enthusiastically and professionally to all incoming requests for banquet events and groups of up to 20 rooms per night, seamlessly managing multiple properties.
  • Develop a Holistic Vision of Events: Develop a clear and precise understanding of client needs and expectations, and use your negotiation skills to craft complex proposals encompassing rooms, meeting spaces, and catering offers.
  • Coordinate Site Inspections: Coordinate exciting site inspections to showcase our hotel's amenities and services.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers to encourage referrals and loyalty.
  • Represent Corner Collection: Represent Corner Collection with the highest level of integrity and professionalism at networking events.
  • Achieve Sales and Revenue Targets: Achieve sales and revenue targets for the designated market, and stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales: Collaborate with the director of sales to continuously improve service offerings and stay competitive.

Requirements
  • Passion for Luxury Hospitality: You are passionate about the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Experience and Education: You have at least 3 years of significant experience in a similar role and/or a degree in hotel management.
  • Authorization to Work: You have the authorization to work in Canada.
  • Language Skills: You are bilingual in French and English for effective communication with an international clientele.
