We are currently seeking a Claims Manager for Accident Benefits Technical Services.In this role, you will lead a team of Technical Consultants to ensure efficient and compliant handling of claims, while providing expert guidance on complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of consultants responsible for overseeing reserve activity and payments on large claims
- Collaborate with claims experts to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance
- Provide advisory support on coverage, policy interpretation, and settlement negotiations
- Uphold corporate governance and regulatory compliance in claims adjudication processes
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize loss costs and expenses
- Foster relationships with external partners and stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate projects to drive operational excellence
- Monitor key performance indicators and trends to inform decisionmaking
- University degree or equivalent experience
- 810 years of technical claims experience in Accident Benefits
- 35 years of managerial experience
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Indepth knowledge of legislation and compliance requirements
