Accident Benefits Adjuster Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accident Benefits Adjuster to join our Workforce Advantage team in Ontario, Canada. As an Accident Benefits Adjuster, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle Accident Benefits claims by telephone and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and evaluate Accident Benefits claims to determine eligibility and entitlement.
  • Negotiate and settle claims with insureds, adjusters, and clients to ensure fair and timely resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.
  • Work effectively with insureds, adjusters, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Health Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of Accident Benefit Adjusting experience required.
  • Must be comfortable with hybrid work arrangements.
  • CIP Designation or working toward completion is an asset.
  • ADR and Litigation experience, including LAT, is an asset.
  • Proficient knowledge of SABS is required.
  • Must be able to obtain an Ontario insurance license.
  • Knowledge of medical and legal information and terminology is required.
  • Advanced level of English (verbal and written) is required.
