Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA)

Join our growing global team in BCG's Retail Practice Area as a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA). As a key member of our Client Focused team, you will deliver value to clients through individual expertise and institutionalized knowledge assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to client cases and proposals by providing relevant analysis and insights.
  • Help case teams create strong impact for the client through workshops and proposals.
  • Support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector by contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials.
  • Develop intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues.

Requirements:
  • Passion for the Retail industry
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches
  • Communicating with case teams and clients in a credible and confident way
  • Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic
  • Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset
  • Navigating complexity and ambiguity
Requirements:
  • 1-2+ years of consulting experience in relevant sector/topic
  • 3+ years minimum industry experience (4-6+ years strongly preferred)
  • Experience working in retail store environment, ideally in a managerial or operations-focused role
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Fluency in English; Fluency in French preferred
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
About the Role:

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants. You will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.

BCG's Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda, and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
